New arrivals

Most of Rudolf Steiner’s legacy has been recorded and is looked after in the Rudolf Steiner Archive, where these valuable holdings are being catalogued, edited and preserved. From time to time scattered, original documents may turn up, which are of great interest for the Rudolf Steiner Archive.
We deeply appreciate the donation of such records because they are important for research and the edition. We are also pleased to receive additional material like transcripts, first editions and any documents related to Rudolf Steiner.

Letters to Kürschner
Rudolf Steiner's handwritten saying
Among the new arrivals that the Rudolf Steiner Archive received and registered in the past years are eurythmy figures, conceived and painted by Rudolf Steiner, vintage prints of portraits of Rudolf Steiner, letters and other valuable documents. Worth mentioning are the hand-written statements of Rudolf Steiner like «In the divinity of the world….» and «Find yourself in the Spirit of the World…», or two letters from 1922 and 1924 written by Steiner to Mrs. Millicent McKenzie announcing a visit, as well as an extensive donation of correspondence from the estate of Joseph Kürschner. These letters and telegrams, which Rudolf Steiner sent to Kürschner between 1883 and 1892 related to his work as author and editor of Goethe's scientific writings, came to complete an important collection which the archive had received around 1960 from the German Democratic Republic.
