Records of Rudolf Steiner’s legacy

Ca. 4000 stenographic lecture notes ; approx. 1800 letters ; more than 600 notebooks and 7000 jottings ; thousands of manuscripts’ pages, sketches, artworks, architectural models, furniture, jewellery, approx. 1100 original blackboard- drawings and Rudolf Steiner’s private library with more than 9000 volumes.

Use of the Archive
Our records can be consulted by appointment daily, from Monday to Friday, 8 to 12 am and from 2 to 6 pm.

Rudolf Steiner’s Complete Works
The Complete Works embody one of the most comprehensive publication projects of any single-author. During his life Rudolf Steiner has not only written numerous books and essays, but he gave more than 6000 lectures related to the most diverse areas of life. Besides this, there are many sketches and designs from the field of graphics, painting,sculpture and eurythmy.

Exhibitions
For many years the Archive has taken part in exhibitions worldwide lending records and artworks. Letters, manuscripts, sketches, paintings, jewellery, furniture, photos, sculptures, architectural models are at disposal for exhibiton purposes

Reading room
The reading room is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 3 to 6 pm. There you can consult the Rudolf Steiner Complete Edition, literature on the life and work of Rudolf Steiner, complete editions of Goethe and Nietzsche, references to works on philosophy, history, religion, exhibition catalogues and the most important anthroposophical journals.

Shop
Our archive shop is open Monday to Friday from 3 to 6 pm. Available are the complete edition of Rudolf Steiner's works, paperback editions, selected secondary literature, etc.
