House Duldeck
since 2002, the Rudolf Steiner Archives are situated in House Duldeck, a building originally designed by Rudolf Steiner for the dentist's family Grosheintz. .It is in the vicinity of the Goetheanum and is one of the most innovative reinforced concrete buildings of the early 20 th century. The form is conceived by Rudolf Steiner as well as other buildings on the Goetheanum hill as metamorphosis of the main building. Rudolf Steiner on Duldeck:” It is of importance, that such a house could be built. It is a living protest against everything traditional in style and construction...”
The shaping of details, interior decoration and furniture was a close cooperation between Rudolf Steiner and the architect Hermann Ranzenberger.
